A Walk to
Remember
Today i finally stepped out for a walk, the merciless rain had to perhaps cut short it's pee break because of the thundering screams of "Mr Boss". Unlucky for the rain but lucky for me as | could finally get some fresh air. The storm had passed and it left behind its cousin, a peaceful light blueish cool sky with a blush of warm yellow. Nature definitely hit the jackpot with the Contrast Settings.
One
look at the sky and | am already way off track with my story, simping for the
rain and nature is truly a guilty pleasure. Anyways isn't it weird how the soil
always smells like chocolate after a rain, my mind knows it's just wet soil and
some bacteria having a carnival but my heart and tongue are already looking to
divide their territories and feast on this Chocolate meal.
I
walk past the damp soil and i can feel the
irritated
glares coming from the Step Counter in my phone, to be honest | don't blame the
young
lad
he's been waiting patiently to fullfill his life's
purpose
while i binge watch Netflix shows
consuming
an unhealthy amount of snacks. |
increase
my pace subtly and begin jogging a little hoping to impress the impatient young
lad but i can still feel his glares from the back of the mobile screen. |
continue my unmotivated jog and notice a kid staring at me from the opposite
balcony. l wave an enthusiastic hi to which her reply is running back into the
the safety of her home.
|
wonder if i had smiled a little too wide or if i made a weird clown face,
different facial expressions began pouring into my brain and it felt like
watching a million people audition for the "JOKER" in a children's
playground it was chaotic and noisy but then out of
nowhere
a memory from the past echoed loudly "This is not a fish market" and
that sentence pierced through these mist of ideas to show me a way back onto my
train of thought, as i struggled to get back to reality i felt a cold hand
grazing on my back, the chaos in my head came to an abrupt pause as if the PT
Master had commanded a pin drop silence, silence was all i couldhear in my
mind. | nervously turned back to find a 2-feet human being smiling at me with
big bright innocent eyes and before i could react to anything i heard a soft
"HI".
